ILLY ART COLLECTION - MENDED CUPS
YOKO ONO
オノヨーコにデザインされた「MENDED CUPS」は、割られ、金継ぎの修復ラインがある最新のilly Art Collectionです。カップにはそれぞれセットのソーサーが付き、そこには何百人という死者が出て世界を驚愕させた悲劇的な６つの事件がオノヨーコの手書きデザインで描かれています。その事件の起きた場所と年月日がそれぞれのソーサーに描かれ、”mended in 2015”（2015年に修復）と、締めくくられています。
コレクション７つ目のカップは「UNBROKEN CUP」で、ひび割れも修復ラインも無い平和と希望を表したカップです。ソーサーにはオノヨーコの手書きで、”This cup will never be broken as it will be under your protection”（このカップはあなたの保護下にあるので決して壊れることは無いでしょう）と書かれています。

People went on cutting the parts they do not like of
me finally there was only the stone remained of me
that was in me but they were still not satisfied and
wanted to know what it’s like in the stone.

ONE
One is an immobile number. One is found in our bodies often as fixed
parts. We count ourselves as one but it might be better to count as
half a pair or a half when you think of the fact that our reproductive
organs can only function by meeting the other half.
One step is only half a move. Since we have two legs we have to take
two steps or jump in order to move from one position to the next.
One is before the cell splits in two. It is only mobile in the process of
becoming two. One as a force is a point – which does not extend like
a line. One constantly seeks for states of zero and two.
