Inheritance : Passion for nurturing the coffee culture
KEY COFFEE’s culture cultivation activities aim to cultivate the coffee culture by closely working with those who are involved in the business, such as customers, business partners and producers, while enhancing each other.
As one of the leading coffee companies in Japan, we aim to become a corporation that brings joys to everybody’s life from a cup of coffee.
Longstanding coffee school nurtures the professional of coffee.
The coffee school provided by KEY COFFEE launched in 1955 as a place to nurture coffee professionals. More than 200,000 people have graduated to date, and the graduates are active in coffee shops and restaurants around the nation. Today, the school also becomes a place of educat- ing regular people who enjoy coffee privately, helping to get across the authenticity of coffee for customers, which has been the principle idea since the day of establishment.
Communication activities aiming to deepen the joy of coffee.
As a part of the communication activities aiming to spread the charms of coffee and further deepen the joy of coffee, we deploy different activities, including the publication of a PR magazine for restaurants, KEY COFFEE REPORT and a PR magazine for consumers, Coffee Fan. From ways to establish a prosperous business to various ways to enjoy coffee with our customers, we always focus on building the coffee culture that is filled with joy.
KEY COFFEE’s prosperous coffee culture cultivation and social action programs.
We take the initiative in social action programs, such as using the “KEY COFFEE LACS 70” Memorial Foundation to provide support and actively participate to preserve the original cultures of coffee producing countries. We also hold “The coffee charity sale” every year around October 1st, the International Coffee Day in Japan. The takings earned from special products, shipped directly from our factory to our headquarters and sold by KEY COFFEE employees, go to Japanese Red Cross Society for the Great East Japan Earthquake.
